Quick Start Guide

Get TrackFlow set up and tracking conversions in under 15 minutes. Follow these steps to connect your Shopify store and start sending data to your ad platforms.

What You'll Need

  • Access to your Shopify admin
  • Your Meta/Google/TikTok ad account credentials
  • About 15 minutes

Step 1: Add Your Store (2 min)

  1. Click Stores in the sidebar
  2. Click Add Store
  3. Select Shopify as platform
  4. Enter your store name and URL
  5. Click Next

Step 2: Add Your First Pixel (3 min)

  1. Click Add Pixel
  2. Select your ad platform (we recommend starting with Meta)
  3. Enter your Pixel ID and Access Token
  4. Click Next then Complete Setup

Step 3: Install Browser Pixel (5 min)

  1. Go to your store's Setup tab
  2. Copy the pixel code from Step 1
  3. In Shopify: Settings → Customer events → Add custom pixel
  4. Paste the code and click Save
  5. Click Connect to activate

Step 4: Set Up Webhooks (3 min)

  1. Copy the Webhook URL from the Setup tab
  2. In Shopify: Settings → Notifications → Webhooks
  3. Click Create webhook
  4. Event: Order creation, Format: JSON
  5. Paste your webhook URL and save

Step 5: Test Your Setup (2 min)

  1. Go to your store's Pixels tab
  2. Click the Test button next to your pixel
  3. Check your ad platform's event manager for the test event
  4. Browse your store to generate some test events
  5. Check TrackFlow's Events page to see them appear

Checklist

  • Store added to TrackFlow
  • At least one pixel configured
  • Browser pixel installed in Shopify Customer Events
  • Webhook configured in Shopify Notifications
  • Test event sent and verified in ad platform
